I suppose I was trying to flesh out his character at the same time as dealing with her character. Weird. I do hope to continue with it, though I'm not sure where I'ma go with it. I'll have to do some fantasizing.

Ah, so it will be a guy then? Cool. But here's a question. (Or a few) What will he or Renamon do when mom gets home? Also, I take it from reading that the male protagonist is a only-child? Does he have other siblings? Wait, so Renamon broke his MP3 player... by her own will? Interesting...

Well Renamon is fazed so only the main character can see him. I was thinking of having a scene where his mom walks in and sees him as he's talking to her but she cannot see her. Indeed, the protagonist is an only child (and I suppose I need to give him a name too xD). No siblings, or perhaps he had siblings who live with his father who doesn't appear to be around. Also the idea of Renamon being able to interfere with electronic devices was just a random passing thought that I'd incorperate (similar to how electronic stuff didn't work well in the digiworld in the show).

See these are exactly the kinds of questions I need to be asked in order to write a better story :D so I am grateful for the comments xD

However, I really didn't want to make the protagonist a kind of bad-ass character since I imagine 99% of most Renamon (or digimon in general) fan-fics involve characters who are unusually strong or stand out as strong characters. I figured it'd be interesting to try writing one that starts off rather weak. Eventually he'll toughen up, but he won't be a total bad-ass (but he'll have his moments, I think).

It's nice to actually see some decent renamon fan-fics every once in a while. With an actual plot(?) and characters that actually have 'character'.

Although, I still don't have a very good idea of how Renamon thinks or actually behaves. The way she switched her attitude towards (insert main characters name here) kind of gave me mixed ideas about her.

Ah good observation. I'm not keen yet on revealing her true feelings about the boy as of yet (nor releasing the protagonist's name yet xD, we'll learn it in the next chapter for sure.) I didn't really want to reveal much about the characters just quite yet, I suppose in a thinly-veiled attempt at making them more interesting. Granted too I wrote this story more or less on a whim.

It's my hope that the mysterious personalities of the characters will drive people to want to read more :p

I'll start writing the next chapter and probably release it no later than Sunday.
