It's Lore! he's a Male Alicorn pony, who started life off as an Earth Pony a LONG long time ago. He spent his life researching history & discovering lost facts of ancient civilizations! Once he became an Alicorn he started using his magic to call up ancient "snapshots" so he could live through moments of the past! But because he used this magic so often, he ended up getting detached from timespace & now he sorta...gets thrown around from one time & place to another. More than that, when he gets pulled to another time/place the ppl he'd interacted with start to forget things about him, their memories fade until they just sorta know about this pony interested in history. They tend to remember his name as "Lost Lore" or "Forgotten Lore" when asked about it.
