Been meaning to do a serious redesign of my fursona for a while, for now I decided to start with the feral form.

Hyenas are some of my favorite animals so that's what I wanted to go with, brown hyenas more specifically, since I wanted to keep the previous fur pattern and it doesn't have any spots or stripes (also big floof)
The the other day I found out the Dinocrocuta gigantea is a thing and oh my god it immediately prompted me into redesign overdrive.

I jotted down all my notes on the design all over the page to keep track of what I like and what I don't like on each design.
I feel like the head especially isn't expressive or animated enough so that's something I want to work on on the anthro ref.
