Woken by the sound of your door creaking, you roll over and crack an eye open, taking in the emerald figure intruding in your bedroom. No words need be spoken as you flip the covers over and make room for your coldblooded companion. Before you drift back to sleep with your dragoness tucked under your arm, you wonder why she bothers going to sleep in her own bed, seeing as how she ends up in yours every night.
Kind of want to write out a backstory for this character, people love backstories, right? Tl;dr: Domestic housemaid dragon gets bought by a wealthy human, they bond and he signs her freedom over. Free beastfolk don't have many civil rights though, so she stays close to her former master for protection as well as affection.
