Anybody remember my old dragon Sarena, one of my very first dragon OCs? :'D
I haven't drawn her for a real LONG time, along with other OCs I used to be obsessed with. :")
I been wanting to revive her for a bit now, mostly because I wanna draw her on big background/scenery pics like I do with Sapphira. Sometimes I just wanna draw a
western dragon other than a wyvern. x"D Wyverns are my fave kind of dragon and all, but their wings can be a pain in the ass to draw in certain angles and limited with what I can do sometimes.
So yeah. :) I desperately needed to give Sarena a redesign as well. I haven't really been happy with her design for years tbh. I really love this new look for her though.^^ The muted colors are WAY more pleasing to the eye. Also got rid of some unnecessary colors like that periwinkle on her wing-fingers. Looked kinda tacky. :P
Feels good to bring back an old character. :D Sarena brings back a lot of nostalgia. ;w;

I'm still not 100% sure, but I was thinking of putting her into Sapphira's universe somehow, not Ralph and Hector's (only 90s kids will remember) anymore. I don't even draw those two anymore, maybe like...Once every 6+ years?? lol
But yeah, I don't know yet she doesn't really fit into Saph's story or anything. I'll think about it~
