When I was just a new baby to the internet on the old Livejournal days, I met jasanni. For as long as I've known her, she's been one of the most loving people you could ever meet. She's strong and resilient, compassionate, funny, forgiving, and loyal. Through all the years I've lost touch and reconnected with her multiple times, and each time we meet again she welcomes me just the same.
Even when I disappeared for a few years and recently began talking again, she was nothing but the kind soul I've known since I was around 15 years old. Through my tears and slow healing, she's been a flicker of flame in the dark. She's a memory of friendship and foundations I thought I lost, something I thought would never be waiting for me again. But here she is, that same burning fire with a heartsong so strong that you feel her miles away.
I could never being to properly articulate how thankful I am to you, Jas. You have not once judged me or faulted me, you have been patient and understanding, and you always leave a light on for this stray cat. <3 I love you dearly, you are more than words can say in my heart.
