I used that last commission to experiment a lot not only with the anatomy and facial and body language but overall, it was a very "I'm going to try some new things" piece. I wanted to push myself to further my style and really analyze things. While I was working on it, I decided to try something different with shading as well. I wasn't really fond of it at first, and I know it could still use some refinement, but it has grown on me so I thought I would share my attempt at a more paintey shading.
