I just joined here recently, but I've been posting art over on DeviantART for a year or so now. I noticed that several of the artists that I look up to had accounts over here, and I've seen some really amazing pictures that were inspired by comments on here.
So, I thought I'd join in.
I'll start by posting some of the pieces that I am the most proud of. This one was originally drawn around a year ago. May 26th, roughly.
Comments and criticism are always welcome. :)

Really lovely! Reminds this wuff of the sort of illustrations for a story book, and this scene just BEGS to have a story around it! *grins* The friendly, contented dragon and his young friends. Vargr just has to wonder more about their lives and the tales of their adventures, for surely there must be some.
Delightful both in technique and image! Thank you for posting, and glad to have your art on FA.

Thanks for the warm welcome. :)
I hope to design a few book covers, or draw the art for some magic cards some day, so it's an honor to hear that. I'm not much of a writer, though. I can try to create a picture that tells a story, but writing a story that really invokes pictures and involves the reader tends to be rather difficult for me.
There will be plenty of art on the way, though.

I'm planning on putting up another three or four tomorrow. Of course, they'll be things that are already in DA gallery at the moment, so you already have an idea about what is coming.
I just need to decide on what to upload next.
After I get caught up, I'll be posting new art on both sites. :D

I really like this piece, there's a very classic fantasy look to it offset by a dragon guardian, which evokes other mythologies where such beasts could be guardians. That, and the dragon is so awesome and yet seem so sweet! I mean, I wouldn't tease him or anything, but he seems like an agreeable sort of dragon.
Such a big, friendly dragon makes my little husky heart happy.
I think the storybook style of this piece adds to the feeling of sweetness and safety here. I also like how shiny you made the dragons muzzle and knuckles-- kind of reminds me of the older, less realistic feel Magic cards used to have. Zoomed out and put in a frame, it could probably pass for one. Hmm... I think I need to fool some friends with that now... :D

Thank you.
This one really was a lot of fun to make. I consider it a turning point in my art, too. I think this is when I started thinking of the scene as a whole, instead of separating things out into background and foreground.
I'm rather satisfied with the atmosphere of this piece, too.
I think this other piece would make a more believable magic card, myself : http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3952689/
