While in Aussie I went to an animal refuge, and got to go behind the scenes with one of the animal vets. Later this guy actually came right up to the chain link fence that separated us and stared into my eyes for at least 2 minutes straight, about 2 inches from my face. Having a lion look straight into my soul (or so it felt like) was probably one of the most intense, awesome things I have ever experienced.
