cool! howd you make it?

Basically I got an 8X4 sheet of particleboard cut it into segments and used one of those segments as the sign. Then I went online and found the Starfox Logo and printed the outline using my toner printer. By placing the paper on the wood I could use a clothing iron to heat up the toner and transfer it to the wood.

After that it was just a matter of drilling holes, and using a jigsaw to cut out the image. The tricky part is routing out the channel for the LED strand to sit in. I had to plan it out and draw up a blueprint, then I cut it about a half inch all around the logo so that it all could be evenly lit.

I bought the LED lights on amazon (tho Wish has them for less now) and a strand of about 300 lights lets me make a bunch of these. I'll post some more with images of the back side so you can see what it looks like.
