Meet Tabby, a (not so) new OC! π±β¨
In truth, I created Tabby in my early childhood, except she didn't have a name and went by "Cat in Pink Roller Skates" instead. She was the main character of a comic 6yo me was writing, and the plot revolved around her trying to prove the other animals that even if she were a cat, she could still make her dream of becoming a professional skater come true.
Ever since my love tiaamaito wanted to bring back one of his childhood moments with his OC Summer, I thought "why not bring the cat in roller skates back?!" and here we are hahaha I'm actually very happy with her, it's like having seen such an old character grow up!
Living the dream, Tabby; living the dream... πβ¨β¨
There's not much more I can say about her, other than that she's a native brazilian from Rio de Janeiro, a perfect carioca who enjoys the beaches and the tropical paradise fever. The warm nights with the chilly breeze coming from the sea are her favorite.
Tabby is a rather modest and simple-minded girl, so she always says she doesn't have interesting things to say about her. Summer, her girlfriend, is very athletic and loves to run, so Tabby usually goes after her, gliding on her wheels~

Oh, the hard life of a Lavi stan... XD I'm lucky Allen is the protagonist, because a lot of other characters I love are being kept on the sidelines for really long D: It's a slow pacing, but I'm happy that we get updates at least, even if every 3 months! There's a new chapter coming on January π
If I havent said it before, i'll say it again xD I LOVE how you do your ref sheets! This one is so fun and how it all ties together! I love all the details that you did on her skates (cause skates/any pair of shoes ARE FREAKING HARD) and of course you draw the best hands! Id love to draw this girl one day, shes so cute!
Thank you so much, friend! π Ref sheets are hard work so I don't do them very often, but when I do, I do my best to make them look pretty and still cover all info I need on the character(s)!
Shoes aren't personally hard for me to draw tbh! Ever since I was a teenager, people have been complimenting the shoes in my drawings and I'd say they're one of the things I have confidence I can draw well when it comes to clothing! Some angles can be troublesome, so references help a lot too, though!
I'm quite late to reply to this, so you've already drawn her and I absolutely loved it! I'm on (even) slow(er) mode, but I'll properly comment on it soon enough~ I'm glad you liked her, anyway!

a ref ficou uma gracinha amor, eu realmente gostei muito de como ficou e essa Γ© for sure uma das minhas refs favoritas de todas q vc ja fez <33 as cores do bg destacaram mto bem as cores dela e o enquadramento de td ficou mto bom, a pelta na lua foi genial HAHA π
como eu disse no dia, eu adoro o set de gears de patinação dela, tem as CORES MAIS GOSTOSAS !!!! OKSOAOSKAOKSOA e tb adoro a ideia dela patinando e a Summer correndo no calΓ§adΓ£o da praia de tardeziinha haha β₯β₯β₯

Eu fico feliz que tenha gostado tanto assim, a ideia nem era fazer uma ref super WOW aesthetic, sΓ³ uma ref que eu gostasse e que estivesse bonitinha. Quando eu vi esse bg eu fiquei :0 porque daΓ acabou ficando muito bonito, e me deu o headcanon da casa perto da praia haha
(obrigado por notar minha paleta encaixada na lua also HUAUHA eu adoro enfiar esses pointless design shenanigans)
Eu vi uns patins de seifuku uma vez e fiquei "!!! quero!", daΓ eu usei essa ideia mas deixando cor de rosa since Γ© todo o tema original dela, e rosa pra mim tem de ser bonito, bem cor de comida/doce gostoso haha E simmm, eu imagino as duas fazendo esse tipo de atividade juntas porque a Tabby mesmo sendo weeaboo tb gosta de se exercitar (e da companhia da Summer ofc), entΓ£o cai como uma luva~
