I liked the TMNTA April better once they had her shed the jumpsuit. She got stale quickly in the cartoon from always wearing the same thing. I also liked how the comic dared to give her a lover, even if not Casey Jones

Yeah, me too. Chris Allan's design is so good, and he's also an animator and worked on Disney, -or something- that's why April looks like Ariel. But yes, I like her temperature, and attitude, and also her Chinese boyfriend, whose name was Warrior Dragon/Chu Hsi. I don't miss Casey. I like 2K3 Casey, and the other version is so... shitty.... awkward and goofy, I think - for me-. That thing is so good. I really like the TMNTA version. BUT also I don't have any problem with another incarnation.

The 87 animated Casey was made into quite a joke, I must admit, and was highly underused! The 2003 Casey has badass as he was based on the original Mirage Casey. There's also much to love about the Casey from the Image comic series (which wasn't much different from the original Mirage until Raph became a Shredder. That series also introduced Karai)

Image TMNT is an unofficial Canon. So yeah, they just use in 2k3. But the 2007/2012/2018 and the IDW Casey is terrible...

Their Bodycount saga (featured Raph & Casey without the TMNT title in it) that Image put out had to be the most violent TMNT story ever made, though, and really defined Casey's character as they were protecting a girl from a Chinese triad

Yeah, I remember that. I like Casey American mask, so good and the art style :D but a story is... hehe :D
Yes they also showed areolas in it, LOL, but at least it wasn't straight up porn like the non-canon mini-comic, The Birds, the Bees, and The Turtles

The best thing about the 2003 Casey was that they well explained what led him to becoming a street vigilante: his family had been torn apart by the purple dragons gang. That gang also has a lot of historical significance as that was the street gang the turtles fought in the first Mirage issue

Yeah, I remember, the 2003 Casey. He was good. But... sometimes he was a stupid-jerk.. that's what I hate... he was a stereotype of big/musclemen.

Original and IDW comic version are my favorite hope the rumors are true and netflix or hulu makes a live action series or pushing that.

Yeah. I really hope it will be a good series or movies. Also, I like all versions of April. She's so cute, and a good character. :D -That's my problem, when I want to make my own comic.. because she's sooooo good character, and all version is so correct/cute/interesting/powerfull etc. :O :D
