I started drawing this last year after I got really obsessed with those "There She Is!" videos((For those of you who don't know, look them up on YouTube or sambakza.net...They feature a bunny and kitty who love eachother despite the fact that their society is strictly against mixed-species couples...Adorable as hell, really! <3)) and I only started thinking about it and decided to finish it recently.

You see, this picture features Angelina and Gus...The two had been friends for a long time during highschool. Angelina had realized the feelings she had for Gus long ago, but had been too afraid to admit it to him, thinking he may think her to be a freak for loving someone that's not her species. However, Gus is the type to just go for whatever he believes is right and doesn't care what anyone else thinks, so when he started to get feelings for Angelina as well, he waited until the night of the school dance to tell her. Almost like a dream come true, the two of them could finally be together. Others stared at them, some in shock, some in disgust, some in mild curiosity, but they didn't care. They had eachother at long last, and as long as they were close to eachother, the world was perfect.

Angelina has been my character ever since I was 3 and she became an imaginary friend of mine. I soon took to drawing her and my other characters a lot, and she and them took on a life of their own. I currently love drawing her, though I haven't done it enough since I was about 12. Gus was actually suppose to be Jullian, another kitty character of mine based off an old kitty of mine, but I ended up making him orange, and since I found out my cat Gus might actually be dead, I decided to create a new character in his honor. I really enjoyed drawing this picture, though I think next time I'll try to make Angelina look a little less rat-like, as she's suppose to be a mouse. XD
