Huh... I've never heard of cases of copper scrappers going after live power lines in large cities before. Any SMART "wire thieves" I hear about go after abandoned buildings and old railroad tracks. And recycle bins/dumpsters. Every other week I see people rolling carts around the street on garbage day scrounging in the bins for aluminum cans.
