I was in the mood to do more fanart of my HOTR OC Virgil Vulture, having in mind that he wears clothes not just because most other animals are wearing them, but due to an incident either with predators or lightning sometime after he had abandoned his flock to seek new thrills in his life, losing most of the feathers on his body, leaving only his wings and tail in one piece unharmed luckily. But it didn't change the fact that he lost a lot of feathers, feeling so much shame at the exposure that he struggled to find anything to cover it and avoid ridicule. Somehow he ended up at a town in a shop that was run by animals wearing clothes, offering to give him a suit that will coverup that featherless body of his. At first Virgil finds it strange at the idea of wearing clothes, but on the other hand, anything was better than letting other mammals laugh at him every day of his life. So he let the guys do their job to pick out the best suit until Virgil decided he liked third one and tried it on, even seeing a collection of hats in different sizes from big to small, and picked the one on the right since it fit the color of his new outfit. That was how Virgil got his outfit and later introduced to the boomtown where he later learns throughout the years how these animals live and act like humans, even most of them dressing like them. It's not too long until he learns how to gamble, drink, and cheat at cards, even joining Vincent's gang to learn about the life of an animal outlaw committing robberies, kidnappings, and even help buy off servant girls at the auction house.
