Third drawing this month! \o/ This one was a really fun challenge for me! I've never really drawn water before other than rain or just basic blue planes for oceans, and the scene is much more dynamic than I'm used to doing, nonetheless I'm quite happy with how it came out! :D
As December is quickly approaching I would like to maybe try and make something christmas themed, as last year it fell during my 'art hiatus' where I was mostly just sketching and practicing rather than making full drawings, I may make some drawings between now and then but who knows. (not I!) This month was a really good month for me, looking back on it. I feel I was a lot more consistent with my art and I also took a moment to step back and really look at what things I want to improve on in the future, so I'm feeling good. :)
As an aside, Clip Studio Paint is on a 50% sale right now, so I took the opportunity to upgrade my Pro version to the EX version, which features unlimited animation frames (as opposed to the regular version's 24 total frame limit). I've always had an interest in animation since a kid (jumping between both 2D and 3D) and have done bits and pieces of it over the years, so maybe some point I will try to make some little animations in the future :D We will see!
I should probably save these long descriptions for journal entries instead but I feel they're more just like status updates than anything important :p thank ye for reading

Nice fun picture Super. I like how they are still smiling despite the possibility they're about to get wet. I love the use of bright lighting and their tufts of fur. What is fantastic is how you've got the boat being rocked, then the stop motion of how the water is splashing away and the tidal effect. That must be one fish their determined to bag. This is your first dynamic picture and I think its fantastic. Well done 😎⭐⭐⭐⭐🙌👍
Thanks Captainnemo! :) I'm glad you like the drawing and as usual your support is greatly appreciated! :D I'm hoping to practice dynamic poses in the future to try and create some more interesting images, but I do also still like doing some good old portraits of character's just chilling out, so I will try to find a balance between them :)
