Here's my two main OCs, both of which are Fantribes of mine. (More info will be provided with their full-bodies, which I am waiting on for one more.) Checkers the Rain Fury and his wife and mate, Phantom the Shadow-Wing.
Short story time:
Checkers was not feeling too happy. Especially since today was the anniversary of a forcible breakup of him and a prior girlfriend, who he seriously wanted to marry, but the Rainwing he'd wanted to marry,a sweet female with a heart of gold, had a bratty, vicious NightRain hybrid as a girlfriend, and the former used him to breed her so she could have children with her girlfriend. He'd never forgotten that, nor forgiven them both for the pain they caused him. Fortunately, a beautiful Shadow-Wing dragoness had helped him heal his broken heart and mind by initially befriending him, and soon fell for him.
Phantom noticed her mate's gloomy expression and she sidled over to him. "Checkers,my love?" She asked sweetly, her sapphire blue eyes shining with love and compassion for him. "Are you doing alright?" She knew the answer already, though and she shuffled into his side, and extended a wing around him in a hug. She smiled at him compassionately. "Checkers, hun. I promise you, that I will NEVER break your heart. I will NEVER leave you, and I would rather die than have a fling behind your back." The miserable male looked at her, green eyes showing the signs of a distraught dragon. "You are my love,my life and my soulmate. The father of our beautiful children who call you 'Daddy!' with such eagerness, other dragonets are envious of them!" She giggled slightly as she said that.
Checkers looked at Phantom before sighing. "You're right, sweetheart." He replied after a short pause to gather his thoughts. "As usual." He smiled slightly as he snuggled into his wife's hug, and the duo shared a brief kiss as they cuddled each other. Reminiscing about the past, watching over the present, and planning hopefully, for the future.
