This is an oldie, from X-mas break. I drew it on the plane going home, which is why there are a couple of funky lines. The characters are from a story of mine that, as of yet, exists only in my head. They're humanoid in the story, but this was right after I got my TLK2 DVD, so I was on a lion kick. Here's a basic outline:

Lucifer II, younger son of the devil himself (his older brother's name is Damien), doesn't want to fight in the war between Heaven and Hell. Unfortunately for him, he's a force to be reckoned with on the field, so his father forces him to take part by drugging him up every day when the fighting starts. He goes through life like this until he's knocked out on the Battlefield and left for dead.

Meanwhile on Earth, the Master Angel of Water, Serina, has left behind the hypocrites in Heaven and founded a hospital that caters to all those of supernatural descent, Demons, Angels, Spirits, whoever. Every night, she opens a portal to the Battlefield and goes through with a contingent of her helpers to bring the wounded to Earth, which is essentially neutral ground, and care for them. When a contingent of Angels arrives at the hospital under official orders signed by Yahweh himself asking to see a young Demon brought in from the Battlefield, Serina knows something's up, but she can't keep them out without reprimand. They reveal his identity to her and ask to bring the Prince back to Heaven with them as a prisoner of war, but Serina puts her foot down at this, as the critically wounded Lucifer is in too delicate of a condition to move. The point becomes moot, however, when a task force of Demons attacks the hospital in an attempt to reclaim their Prince. The Angels take off and leave Serina and her staff to fend for themselves, which they do admirably. One doesn't become the Master Angel of Water by mere chance, after all. The hospital itself is badly damaged, so Serina moves the patients to wherever she can get them beds, sending the stronger ones home to their respective planes. However, not wanting anyone else to bear the responsibility should he not make it, she brings Lucifer home with her, using supplies from the hospital to set up a makeshift facility in her apartment.

Serina nurses Lucifer back to health, and they get to know each other. She finds out about the awful slavery that his family put him through, and he finds out why she defected from Heaven to live on Earth. Drawn to each other, they eventually fall in love. Things go all right for a while, but then they are found out. Love between Angels and Demons is strictly against the highest laws of Heaven and Hell, and is punishable by death. Seri and Luce are arrested and taken to the Battlefield for a public trial.
