I keep iterating on this character, and every time I am happy with the results. This time I focused on the gas mask, I wanted to show the character underneath the mask's lens. I wanted the fur to look soft and touchable in contrast to the hard and rubber surfaces. It was challenging to get the fur to look pressed down underneath the straps.

I don't know what kind of air he is breathing in there, but whatever it is, it certainly is steamy.
