No, actually. I was thinking more of a published artist (I think) who uses bold lines of similar style with goofy, exaggerated expressions. But I can definitely see a similarity between this and hodori's lineless work. Which isn't surprising since I love it, but I'm not sure it was his work I'm apparently channeling.
