This is Takari. He is a bull sperm whale or, cachalot if you prefer. He travels from Antarctica to South Africa, spending a great deal of time at New Zealand, where the game is based.

Takari's name means "Mighty Warrior". He was named this due to how often he puts himself in harms way and, emerges the victor.

In Project: Light and Dark, Takari is unique. He is the only character capable of a ranged attack, using his echolocation. He is intelligent and, will be a challenge.
