....there is a lot to love about that sky and the low light interacting with the scenery, but I was caught by....just that foam on the ships' bow and these waves interacting with the ship's body, jesus that must have been gruelling to paint!

I'll be honest.. that is my fave spot too hahaha it actually was a super fast and easy detail to add but it immediately added a lot of life to the scene. The waves took longer ofc, this piece as a whole took 17h

I love how you pictured the lower background space ! Details are amazingly done. Obviously love all the picture as well too <3

This is astounding work. There is so much going on here. There is a wonderful dynamic to this and the perspective gives this an exhilarating atmosphere. The texture of the sea looks so realistic as the ship crashes through the waves. The glow from the setting sun in the background is so gentle and it's lovely how it's touching the lead character and touching the statue. The flock of seagulls look as if they are really soaring around the boat. I like how you've got the sensation of wind with her fur been blown the headband of the other crew member and the free ropes from the rigging. I love how the other crew member is playing the violin. With all the colour and the setting, I could imagine him playing something adventurous or tranquil.

You have put so much work and detail into this, that only one word is appropriate. A MASTERPIECE⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The detail on the ship's figurehead is amazing! I don't think I've seen too many griffons so this one is very interesting. Beautiful texturing of the wood and sail. The water splashing against the ship's hull is gorgeous - excellent light/shadow! Lovely background with the sun rising/falling behind the mountains. Impressive work!
