The photos of the sculpture didn't do much to show off the details of her base, so just throwing up this snapshot so everyone can see.
It's cast out of a blue-tinted clear polyurethane plastic. Approximately 12 inches long.

The process? All my process is gleaned from the internet. I could write you a six page article on how I did all of it, but it wasn't necessarily the best way. If you're interested, tons of tutorials all over the internet. Look up the following:
Sculpting with Super Sculpey clay (around aluminum wire and tin-foil armatures)
Creating multi-part silicone molds (all my materials I got from Smooth-on, but other companies make/sell them too. They have some cool tutorials, though!)
Hollow casting / roto-casting in liquid polyurethane ( for the figure, Smooth-on again. Base is solid casting)
Model kit finishing (the trimming of excess plastic, sanding, filling defects,)
annnnd painting, which I still haven't figured out the best way to do. I airbrushed some of the details, so I was trying to avoid enamel paints, but with the proper ventilation and respirators would probably be the way to go.
And of course, that's all if you want to make multiples. If you're interested in just making one for yourself, you can skip all that stuff about molds, casting plastic, and trimming.

Yep, http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3933707/ Combination vacuum/pressure chamber. Use it to degas my silicone rubbers too, but in this case the resin had a short pot life so I skipped degassing and went straight to 80 psi pressure curing. Squashes bubbles visible to the naked eye for crystal clear results. This picture looks a little grainy not because of inclusions in the plastic, but because of a little clear-coat dust that landed on it while I was spraying stuff. Can't see it when there isn't a camera flash on it...
