It appears to be a 2-6-6-2 "Mallet" locomotive. These were generally lowspeed freight loco's

i was working there yesterday when this rich mother fucker drop off $4 mil. to buy it and get it restored to working order. and when it finished he's give'n it to the rail line! there are some nice people still around!

SWEET! FINALLY, another rare locomotive will be restored. At least in time.
And yep, most likely it's a "Mallet" type steam locomotive. These engines were used for heavy frieght or industrial use. Slow, lumbering, but pack a WHOLE LOT of horse power!!!
