Smouldering Ash, or just Ash, is a Tabaxi Pyromancer Sorcerer. He has a natural affinity towards fire and fire spells.
Any non-cantrip spell that would deal fire damage releases more fire damage in a 10ft Radius.
Ash is resistant to fire damage and his fire damage ignores resistance to fire damage. (Yes, Ash ignores his own fire resistance.)
There are many more abilities that I'm looking forward to like a reaction effect like Hellish Rebuke that also ignores fire resistance.
Another effect improves Ash's resistance into straight immunity to fire damage and Ash's fire would then treat immunity as a resistance.
The fire-proficient sorcerer claims to have not started any fires.
You'd believe him, right?
