This is a beautiful shot of my horse Cally. A German warmblood breed. She just turned 20 years old back in February but this pic was taken nearly 10 years ago.
The shot was taken at the first stable I found for her after we arrived from Germany. This was taken in Wadsworth, IL in the outdoor range. I can't believe she stood still long enough for me to take the shot. I have a copy of this pic above my bed too, next to the pic of her jumping in a tournament in Germany.
Doesn't she look regal?

Her coloring changes by the season. The more sun she gets, the browner her coat becomes. During the winter, she turns very dark, almost black. Her papers states she's Brown/black officially. Only the white star on her forehead and the white sock on her read leg doesn't change.
