Ever think of owning a Maremma or Great Pyrenees breed? Well, this is what you have to look forward to, about twice a year. This photo was taken last spring as my dog, a Maremma, was shedding off his winter coat. Its takes several hours to groom him during his big shedding season. Also, keep in mind, that shedding season never ends. He just a big shed twice a year, the rest of the year he just sheds a little amount.

I've forgotten what my carpet looks like at home, its all white fur covered now.
