Paloma was the youngest daughter to a high class family who spent most of her life stuck indoors due to an overly protective family. Paloma had always been a rather clumsy child, who wasn’t the greatest when it came to coordination. She possessed a lack of forethought, and her impulsiveness constantly got her into some problems. However, despite this, she was very friendly and loved trying to get close to others, but had no real concept of personal space, nor was she someone who picked up on social clues easily.

From an early age, Paloma had been home schooled, and didn’t have any actual friends to be with besides the plushies in her room and the Eeveelutions owned by her family. There were many times she wished she could get out there and make some actual friends.

One day, she managed to convince her mother to let her tag along into town, as she wanted to visit the toy store. Once they arrived in town, they noticed there was a commotion going on. Someone had just turned into a Pokemorph, and everybody was crowding around and causing a ruckus. This distracted Paloma’s mother, and so she didn’t realize that her daughter had wandered off.

Paloma would then manage to run into the Team Union grunt responsible for the earlier Pokemorph. Her appearance surprising him, the grunt dropped his catalyst device, which Paloma picked up. Before he could do anything to stop her, Paloma accidentally shot herself with catalyst.
