Hank was a simple young man with a goal of traveling the world and becoming the best Bug-type trainer he could be. He had always loved bug types, and made it his goal to travel from region to region and amass the best team he could. His interest in Bug types stemmed from when he was a kid and had gotten lost, and accidentally stumbled upon a furious Aggron who attacked him. Before the Aggron could even touch him, there was a blinding light, and a strange massive, red, bug-like creature came out of it and attacked the Pokemon. Hank could only watch in awe as said creature flexed before running off and disappearing into another flash of light.

Flash forward to the present, where Hank’s adventure brought him to Leazon, In the midst of his trek in the woods, he came across the Vespiquen Pokemorph, Aubrey, as she and her Combee were tending to some injured Bug Pokemon. Unable to really do anything but watch, Hank would become enthralled by Aubrey’s apparent elegance and actions in helping the Bug Pokemon. Unable to work up any actual courage to say anything, he could only watch as she and the Combee walked off.

Wishing to see more of the Vespiquen, he decided that it would be his goal to find her again. He had been enthralled by her beauty and elegance, as well as her apparent compassion for Bug types. In his quest to try and find her, he would eventually be Pokemorphed into a Heracross.

Where he was originally a thin and lanky young man, his transformation would result in him becoming large and strong. He would also end up more assertive and confident
