Wishing Well is a song I put together using heavy reverberation and echo on a harpsichord, a phased kick drum, a shaker, and a light synthesizer. The title is double entendre--in one aspect, it represents a fountain where you can throw your loose change in exchange for a better day, and in another aspect, it represents the force of will where you put your energy into making someone feel better. The song itself has an underlying personal meaning - it is a new beginning for me, waking up to a new day in which I greet the sunrise. It represents a change in outlook...today will be a bright day.
