The Moundstalker is a mammal that lives primarily solitary lives. So called because their territories are typically centered around insect mounds, which they cultivate for lean seasons as well as to attract mates. They grow up to around ninety pounds, and will capture prey up to half their weight, which are then brought back to the mounds to feed the insects within.

Moundstalkers will often bring trinkets and use the bones of their prey to decorate their mounds in intricate displays. They are clever and have been known to form temporary packs to take down larger prey.
