WoW-types are a very silly bunch and find all sorts to complain about. Nothing new.

I for one LOVE that this is the first outfit that like is actually designed around multiple races and not just fitted for a human and stretched ugly-like on everything else like 99.99% of gear.

It has actual ear holes for my Vulpera and horn holes for my Tauren.

I personally thought the set was pretty bad :P
Buuut I also don't pay for 6 month subscription so eh? xD

There's a cute set I made using parts of it, and a fittingly edgy variant of it with some rogue gear for my, well, rogue.

Honestly, if they have this in the game then they may as well bring back the xmog helms. The colors on the sprite darter set are nice enough and it's something optional, who cares. If people really want to fly into a tantric rage over it I'll equip the full thing while riding my celestial steed. Why care about what someone is doing, especially considering it isn't and cannot affect you? It's a welcome change of pace from getting another mount for the 6 month sub bonus that I wouldnt be using.
