That's why I like the pre-Sabrina Amy a whole lot better. Everything about her in the comic I never appreciated or liked, and it really disappointed me because she was not only my favorite furry girl, but she also was the one that made me a furry.

I first read "16 or 32 color" and instinctively inserted a "bit" before "color". Made myself double-take. Amazing how far things have moved. (64 color half-brite! 4096 color HAM, OMG!)

And THEN it was a question of which chipset.... then which video board...

This is a great combination, her then, young and thin, and her now, older, more mature, and "a little thicker around the middle." I can wait to see what my characters are going to look like in 20 yrs.

Personally, I don't care how fat she is she's very beautiful.

Times may have change, but Amy is still the hot squirrel lady from your animations.

She's grown up and fleshed out.. and it's suited her.

As a side note; as her 'dad'... do you think you've thought of her differently now? Personality and all.

In the original first concepts of Amy, she was intended to be the size of an actual squirrel, and was not much more than a kinda diva-ish pinup girl. Things changed from there.

As my first famous character, she's sort of my Mickey Mouse. Over the years she's gotten less 'edgy' and more family-oriented, as well as wearing more clothes. She also looks as much like a real squirrel as Mickey looks like a real mouse.

Don't hate me on this but, I never liked Amy when she was in the comic. I never appreciated the story she was given. I first discovered Amy in the original art and animations and not only did I fall in love with her, but she was the one that made me a furry. When I read the comic, I thought her change of personality (and clothes) were okay. But everything else was a disappointment to me (most notably everything that had to do with her and Thomas). In my opinion, I liked the original Amy far more better than the modern one.
Please don't hate me on this, it was just an opinion and I have nothing against the rest of the comic (the other stuff about the comic rocks!)

I loved the strip that the second Amy was in. Thomas's reaction when he realized he'd f***ed up was priceless. At least he caught himself BEFORE he'd said too much. LOL.

Well, for one she started wearing more than just a skirt. And she passed on the 'Amiga Mascot' job onto Sabrina.
