So... I decided to pick up quite a few of those art challenge things to get myself back into the swing of drawing again. I reigned a friend to help me keep it up and at least encourage me to do at least something each day. I'm happy to say that she's doing the challenges with me too.
For starters, we picked up a Mythical Creatures challenge and because we started this on the 15th, we decided to do two of them a day (or attempt to) and we rolled for a random list for both of us to accomplish these. This way, we're not trying to do the exact two each day and get discouraged because the other person is making theirs cooler/better in the same moment. XD
I'm basing most - if not all - of mine from memory, only looking up the ones that I truly don't know or remember, and adding my own little flair to each one. So some might be cute! Some might not be. All depends on how inspiration strikes me in the moment of creation.

This was made on my day 2 of the challenge. My two mythical creatures was the Black Shuck (seen here) and a Selkie.
It's dark, but I'm quite proud of this one! I made two versions of this, the other having more prominent pupils in the center of each eye than this one, but still retaining the glow. I still admire this one over the other, however.
