That's part of why she's been beefed up since then. :) 12 years ago I was using a Spidergirl add as a reference too, so that contributed mightily to the super skinny look.

It's probably because of the 12 year difference in the two characters. I think I'm older than a lot of folks participating, and I'm probably one of the rare ones who haven't changed their species or character in that time. :)

I might be wrong, but I think I have a bunch of your older works from early 200 up on my HD. I love to collect it all, it's nice to see where any given artist came from. :)

but somewhere closer to mid-way you got a better grasp of anatomy but you didn't super-toony-stylize Dalia. I think that was my fav period.
(otoh, I may be imagining things)

No, you're right. I used to want to make things look as real as possible, but then a whole bunch of people joined the fandom who did that MUCH better than I did, so I decided to find the style that was the most me. This is where it's led me. I still might try for that realism again someday, but not now.

A very pretty then and now...but i have to vote for the figure on the now. She's not as skinny as the then version, and i like the filly's with lots of curves!
