Yay chis. I used to have several. We are down to just our 3 legged stub tail baby (he had been beeten so much his tail was a solid bone and his back leg didn't work from beforewe rescued) We just lost 3 to age and illness last year .

We tend to rescue our dogs or take cases otherwise would be put down

One that was pulled too early from his mom, then kept on a liquidish diet to make him have runny shits so it fell through the bars, which caused his legs to constantly dislocate from malnutrition is now actually training to be my service dog for my narcolepsy. We built a strong bond as I helped him get healthy, with vitamins, physio etc. And he naturally started pre alert to episodes etc. He is the sweetest boy, and sooo trusting. He is the kinda baybe if you pet him on the stairs he will fall into your hands trusting you not to let him fall and get hurt. People who do this to dogs just...arg.
