I drew Aether, and aside from some perspective issues, this is probably the best he's ever come out. I still can't figure out how to do all those cells in the dragonfly wings, though.

Very nice! I like his expression paired with the hand gestures, they pair well to give a mystical quality to him. For the dragonfly wings, you might consider adding a stronger/thicker ridge to the top portion of the wing, with the rest of the length-wise divisions radiating from where the wings attach to his back.
Thank you! Yeah, this is the most mystical I have ever made him look, in my opinion. I am definitely happy with his face, expression, build, and design, despite several visual issues with the picture.

My main issue with drawing the cells is more that I get overwhelmed by all the detail, especially with applying lighting, and it ends up not looking right.
If the cells of dragonfly wings were larger relative to the wings, I wouldn't have this issue.

If you're not committed to exactly dragonfly wings, you could do dragonfly styled while incorporating other elements. Maybe structured more like monarch wings, which have a decent number of cells and strong ribs throughout. Just something to consider. Otherwise, I'm sure you'll get more comfortable drawing them with time.
