I probably said this before already but I absolutely adore how you took a cute kid-friendly franchise (Pokémon) and then made an OC Pokémon that’s miserable, overweight, a drunk and who smokes. It’s really funny.

But lit’s how subtle it is in tone that really sells it. It’s not a cliché over-the-top edgy and tasteless parody like "ha ha le Pokémon take drugs and there’s le violence and le sex" it’s just a Pokémon who’s grumpy and drinks a bit too much.

I really love these comments, they’re super sweet and genuine. It might be hard to describe, but I know what you mean.

Though I gotta say that I’m not actually trying to achieve any type of aesthetic, this is just how my brain works. I want to tackle adult content but I’m only interested in drawing cute cartoon characters. My work is just the result of those two desires. It makes me happy that you like it. :)
