I choosed to color this picture because at least pokemons are really easy to color, after all they ALWAYS have the same colors and patterns. Except for the girl, I had no idea how to color her so I just threw in random colors X_X
I fail at light sources, I think I wanted it to come from the right but I got no fucking clue how it ended up. I like Nidorina's eyes though... yup.

Are you using the one shade for shadows? Only thing i could suggest to you is to use a darker shade of each colour to shade them, making it a little bit sharper and then blending it?
I usually use the marker and then then blend it with the watercolour tool :3
