"Yeah, I'm winning, dad."
So this idea popped into my head yesterday while working on commissions and such. I was already prepared to put it on hold and at the most scribble out a quick sketch. While doing so, I went back and forth on how to proceed with the picture and eventually decided to just give the painting technique another go. It worked so well that I finished the shading in no time and was able to put this all together in much less time than I had anticipated. The background actually took more work in terms of arranging objects and playing around with a few things.
Originally I thought about making this a mature pic, but I liked the composition so much that I kept it clean. That way, if I ever decide to do livestreams, I can just use this pic for previews. ;3
The game shown on the screen is called Armello. It's a really fun board game style strategy/roleplay game with furry characters. I've been playing it again recently as it's perfect for a short break between drawing sessions. :3
Enjoy!

Funny you ask that, since the mousepad is actually a Tony the Tiger picture I drew some time back: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/31398428/ :P
I know, right? Originally I wanted to have a screenshot of Planescape:Torment on the screen, one of my favorite games that I have thought about a lot recently. I even bought the enhanced edition on Steam for the purpose of taking an original screenshot and not resorting to taking one from the store page or google.
But I realized that the background render had too much of a blue hue and that game is heavy on brown and dark colors. So I decided to switch it out with another game. It had to be one that was easily playable with a touchpad / wireless keyboard so I wouldn't get buried by comments saying "How is he playing a shooter with a touchpad?". So I started thinking which game would fit and quickly jumped to Armello. I did browse through a bunch of my screenshots to find one that had a sufficient blue hue in it.
I stumbled upon that one, which I took when during one game I had accumulated so much Rot and attacked the king very late, so I had gathered that insane amount of dice. I ended up using this because I figured those familiar with the game might get a kick out of it.
So yeah, a bit of backstory for you there. :3
