And so, after a long absence since my last story bits, here is my first, if belated, submission worthy of FA; myself. Or, perhaps I should elaborate on that. This is a notable picture in that it is the first one (that I know of) to feature my fursonna Taiko Akito, a wingless dragon with green scales and a crown of horns.
Naturally, given this was done on Flipnote on a DS and not pencil and paper, a fact that I found surprising given the quality of the picture, the colors of my dragon don't come through, which is easily forgiven when put into context of its status in my heart. The picture was done a couple months ago by
LupeSilverwind, as part of his (now finished) Flipnote request offers, something that a good friend and roleplaying partner of mine (a.k.a.
Sagisou ) thankfully referred me to. Just as naturally, given that this picture was the first ever that I'd ever had of Taiko, even if only a headshot, I was elated by its appearance, which has since been a staple of my imagination at any point that I roleplay with my fursonna (not to mention a fair few avatars too).
Anyways, ever since I got this picture, I've been meaning to, and putting off, post it on here as it is on FA, in order to give my miniscule Gallery something to actually show off. If anyone is wanting to see where it was originally posted, all you need to do is follow this link here. Now that I have actually gotten around to it, I have to say…posting stuff here is much easier than I’d made it out to be. Let it be said, that's something very encouraging for me.
Thanks for stopping by, any and all viewers, and have a great day. Oh, and give Lupe's gallery a long look over, while you're at it; he has some real quality pieces of art there, some not even done on a DS (which is still a feat in itself; half the people I know can't make a decent signature on a touch screen, myself included).

Wow, that was fast! I'd have thought it'd take an hour for someone to notice this.
Anyways, thanks for the comment Cray, though the real praise goes to Lupe. He was the one who made it for me, and I owe it to him for giving Taiko a face that wasn't restricted to being in my head.

Heh, well, I would, if I didn't handle digital coloring tools like a feral cat. Truth by told, Lupe made the picture, not me, so I'm afraid to actually attempt to alter it myself, lest the end result soils the original.
But thanks for the compliment Dregna. It's great to see that Lupe's efforts aren't just liked by just my niche interests.

Seeing as this was my first ever picture of Taiko, that's kind of a hard question to answer, seeing as I didn't have any expectations for how it would come out. I gave references of other pictures for how it might look, but that's it.
However, I am very satisfied with how this came out, as you can tell by the design staying the same ever since I got it.
