I took this photo back in early October off Forest Service Road 288 near Cataloochee. I never knew what to do with it, so I decided to share it with you guys today. A reminder of sorts, maybe to myself. Sometimes those fleeting moments as the light fades there is something more to all of this. The sun was fading fast, a hint of glow through the forest, shining in a soft orange hue through the fall foliage. I sometimes question my abilities as a photographer, I can never decide if I really know what it is I'm doing with a camera in hand. I just have fleeting hope my photos bring a bit of joy into your lives as I struggle to find my vision on long days such as this.
