This is the first stage of polishing, the result of a very thorough sanding with a 120 grit polishing attachment for my Dremel. Its a bit wet in this photo since I pulled it out of the vegetable oil I am using to get the last bits of investment loose since I really don't want to put this thing anywhere near water until I can get a sealant (think clear nail polish) coat on the horns.
