*james walked to the mutsu general's apartment as part of an errand for gin, who james thought was alice, his mother. he knocked on the door*
james: knock knock!
*minazuki opened the door* minazuki: hello james.
james: hi minazuki-san. is sara home? we're supposed to be going to the shotgun lesson with dad.
*sara appears* sara: hey james! sorry for being late.
james: great. btw minazuki, mom wants to talk to you aboult important documents that she needs to write.
minazuki: okay. if you like, i can walk with you two to the training feild. James: that would be gre-*suddenly they hear loud gunshots*what the?!
*uzuki rushes from downstairs*
uzuki: minazuki!! some big irish wolfhound and his gang are attacking gajou town!! akame and kisaragi are trying to hold them off!
minazuki: oh shit! sara, i need you to stay here with james until this is over. sara: but mom! minazuki: no buts sara! *to james* james, look after sara until i get back! *he runs down the corridor with uzuki*
james: okay.
*they both looked at one another, uncertain of what's going on outside.*
james's thought's: an irish wolfhound?
kisame: hey! *james and sara see kisame running towards them* so you guys are waiting here too?
sara: yeah. for our own protection until they fight off that wolfhound.
kisame: yeesh. dad sent me back for the same thing and because they don't want me hurt. they always treat me like a baby. i really want to see the action!
james: you know, we could go and see the action, but we can hide from a vantage point so they won't see us. we can use the back door to get there.
kisame: that might be a good idea! let's go then!
sara: wait! our parent's will get mad at us if we disobeyed!!
kisame: ah come on sara! where's your sense of adventure?
sara: oh you! *sighs* i just can't win...

*meanwhile outside of gajou building*

jaguar: kisaragi, is your son safe? kisaragi: yep. he's in the main building. minazuki's said that james and sara are there too. uzuki: i hope they'll be safe. hazuki: easy for you to say jackass! i nearly got my head blown off! minazuki: has anyone told gin what's happening? dog 1: akame's gone to get him! dog 2: there he is now!
*gin, john, akame, great, smith, bill, musashi, kurotora, chutora and hakuro rush out the main building.*
irish wolfhound: so, there's gin....stone, have you got the brat as hostage? stone: yes, we have boss.
irish wolfhound: right, now for a little performance...
*back with james, sara and kisame, they snuck out of the backdoor and sneaked around the building and see the backs of the irish wolfhound and his men*
james: is that the irish wolfhound?
kisame: yeah.
sara: he looks creepy.
john: whoever you are, you have no business to be here!
irish wolfhound: that's where you are wrong! i am Kamakiri, commander of the Wakayama prefecture, and soon, the supreme leader of this prefecture!
uzuki*whispers to hazuki*: what a nutcase.
hakuro: look you, like john said, you have no business to be here! so you can go back to wherever you came from!
*james's thoughts: hmm? why did hakuro call dad john? mora and mozart told me that lord john and lord gin are on a long travel and mom and dad are taking their place until they return.*
Kamakiri: hah! wrong again, hakuro of hokkaido! boys, bring the kid! *to everyone's horror, stone brings out ken as a hostage.*
gin: ken! john: oh shit!
*cross, ben, minnie and george rush up to gin*
gin: ben! are you alright?
ben: gin, those bastards took my son! We tried to stop them...
gin:*turns to Kamakiri with an enraged look on his face*you cowardly bastard! let ken go now! *he steps forward but Kamakiri points his left arm with a sawed off shotgun to ken's head* Kamakiri: ah, ah, ah! one step forward, and ken get's his brains splattered on the ground.
*james, kisame and sara watched helplessly from the vantage point.*
kisame: dammit! what a coward!
sara: we've got to do something to save Ken!
*james remembers a bow and arrow technique that mikami taught him*
mikami: the three arrow attack can be used to disable a man's arm and back or a boar at the right moment.
jame's thought's: i've got to do this, to save ken. *he brings out his bow and arrows that he brought with him and starts sneaking out from his vantage point to a spot away from Kamakiri* kisame:*in a whisper* eh?! what's that idiot doing?! he's gonna get us killed! sara: james, come back!
*but james had already got to a spot behind Kamakiri. he soon pulls out three arrows from his quiver and points his bow at Kamakiri's left arm*
Kamakiri: i'll give you ten seconds to comply with my requests. if you don't, then bang. ten....nine...eight...seven...six...five...four...three....two..*suddenly james let's the three arrows go, hitting Kamakiri's left arm and back. Kamakiri shrieked in pain and dropped the shotgun. then gun fell to the ground and went off shooting one of Kamakiri's men in the foot* Kamakiri's soldier:YEARGH!!! MY FOOT!!!!!! AHHHHHHHH!!!*he drops and rolls on the floor while holding his foot as blood gushed everywhere. stone was so shocked that he let ken go. ken ran back to cross and ben. kisame and sara rushed to james, amazed at the arrow technique he used. Kamakiri winced as he looked at the three arrow's on the back of his left arm. he pulled them out, one by one.* john's thoughts: that bow and arrow technique... Kamakiri: who did this?! who the fuck shot those arrows in my arm?! i'll snap their neck for this! *another of Kamakiri's men looked behind and saw james with the bow and arrows* Kamakiri's soldier 2: boss! that kid's got a bow and arrows! i think he did it! *Kamakiri turned and looked at james, and for a moment he thought he saw gin in james* Kamakiri: gin? no, he's right behind me. *he looks back at gin with a manic grin* is this the best you can do gin? having a soldier who's willing to die for his friend? no matter, cause i'll crush his head like a grape! *he lunges at james, sara and kisame* sara: JAMES!!! *Kamakiri raises his fist to punch james. suddenly *whoosh!* three figures save james, kisame and sara as Kamakiri slams his fist down* Kamakiri: huh? where did that brat and those two other brats go? *he looks back to see a husky with kisame, a kishu with sara and a shikoku holding james close to him. the shikoku hands james over to gin* kisame: Tesshin! ni-san! izou: you, sara and your new friend are safe now. gin: james, are you alright? james: mom... sara: mom! *she clings to minazuki* akame: son, your father and i told you to stay in the main building! kisame: i'm sorry but... I just wanted to see what's going on. Akame: *sighs* it's alright son. Just stay close. *gin get's up with james* gin:*to kamakiri* Kamakiri, you've attempted to murder my freind's son and my son! i will not accept that and it is unforgivable!! *john stands by gin and james* Kamakiri, you and your men now have no choice. get out now, or prepare to fight to the death!
*kamakiri glares with anger and hatred at gin and james* stone: boss? kamakiri: dammit. fall back. we're leaving. i can't believe that we were foiled by a bunch of mixed bred mongrels! *the ohu army looks shocked at this racist outburst* kisame: WHAT?! LEMME AT HIM! *izou holds the enraged kisame back. kamakiri looks back at gin, john and james* Kamakiri: but it won't be the end, i can assure you. one day, you will all meet a very sticky end. *they leave the way they came* gin: *sighs* that was close. john: you can say that again. *gin looks at james*
gin: james. *james looked up at gin. he could see gin was a bit stern* james: um... gin: james, i'm very cross with you. *james looked down* you could have been killed! why? why did you do it? james: i just wanted to save ken's life. that's what you and dad would do, right? gin: but...*sighs* sometimes..things can be difficult, and sometimes, we can't always saves lives. *he puts his hands on James's shoulders* but you did save ken and now he and his family are in your debt now, and i'm proud of you now. *he hugs james. james however felt something wrong with this. it wasin't the same hug that alice gave to james, whenever he felt down. it just felt...off* john: james? *james looked up at john* john: where did you leaned that bow and arrow technique? james: ?? father, don't you remember? mikami taught me it with your permission? *john looked shocked* john's thoughts: mikami? my old freind, taught james that bow and arrow technique?
