A type of species designed by me and concept by DarkestCcino on DA. Both him and I own the species and is a closed species unless permission is asked.

The average Mellimus Bee (Sometimes called Honey Mouse), is a bee-mouse hybrid that can turn anything it eats into honey. The Shiny part of their belly does the work of infusing and engulfing their prey in the transformative, sticky acids and converts them overtime. As whatever they ate becomes honey, it then gets transferred into the bee abdomen (their tail technically) so they can squirt it out. The hardness and quality of objects they eat determines how think the honey will be. Likewise, if they eat any moving peeps or Pokémon they will generally become very sticky honey.

The Mellima are about 1 foot in average height but can change their size at will, their bodies are very flexible and can stretch to accommodate for an estimated 300 gallons of honey. Their abdomens can only grow to hold about 50% of that amount, meaning they might have a big and chubby belly for a long while until the honey is used up. The Mellima can use their super sticky honey for making webs to catch anyone in them. The honey has great adhesive properties.

The taste of the honey can be slightly altered:

-Eating regularly grants normal honey.

-Having 50% of their meal accommodate for only one specific type fruit makes the honey closely taste like that fruit (Example being if a Mellimus had starfruit, then the honey would have a starfruit flavor.)

-Anything extremely hard like diamond or steel makes the honey really thick (Yes they can digest objects. That's what I mean by anything).

-Sometimes, when eating living prey, there is a good chance that the prey gets sent out as a honey state being. (A person made completely of living honey)

***One of many ways to reverse this effect is to get a Nesquishian or Nesquishinite to nom and digest the honey off since their bellies work like a washing machine in some way, reversing the effects of the transformation. Another would be to use simple magic to counter the effects or showering in any sacred liquid.

There are also a few differences between the male and female versions.

Females:

---

*Have fur around necks

*Stripes inverted from males

*Wings appear more fairy/Butterfly like.

*Wings are any shade of red or pink

Males:
*Don't have mane or have small fur tuff.

*Wings are a shade of blue or cyan


Other Abilities:

-Mellimus Bees can lift up to 500 pounds in weight.

-As mentioned before they can grow or shrink themselves. They can only grow themselves up to their regular height.

-Mellimus bees can use their Abdomen to catch prey as well.

-Overall Design:
>All Mellima must be a shade of yellow. (Colors close to Beige or ivory do not count) this be their main body color.
>The stripes can be any color but the belly color must be the same for all Mellima. (Yellow stripes on the belly must be the same for all species.)
>Can add any hair style or fur type to make unique. Just remember females only get the mane around the neck.
>If a Mellimus is nommed, their flavor would be that Mellimus' favorite food.

These species have a similar function to the RooTanks in terms of making food but not by all that much. They still get the job done though.
