I was refreshing my memory of Python by writing a small Bomberman clone with otters. Ended up abandoning the project some 3/4 of the way through due to the lacking modular design of the code (you live, you learn. Animation implementation should definitely not be kept until everything else was already in place), but figured I might as well post the sprites I made for it.
The original art is in vector format, I'd originally composed the animated GIF to spot the more obvious animation problems. I redid the walking animation some 5 times and it's still a tad too static, but oh well.
