I've had this idea in my head for a long, long time. I wanted to do something about my love of biking, but I was a little daunted by the idea of drawing machinery in motion for a whole sequence; but the 80th anniversary of Fantasia gave me the urge to finally try it.

I know you're referencing Beethoven's Pastoral Symphony, but the first thing that springs to mind for me is: https://youtu.be/KwvWtZl2ICY
I did something similar years ago in this picture:

The background is the sheet music of the Nutcracker's Arabian Dance, an extremely subtle hat-tip to that Fantasia sequence. (As opposed to an out-loud hat tip naming the seductive goldfish "Arabesque.") In all the years it's been in the Funhouse I think only one person picked up on it.
Years ago one of my oldest friends told me he fell in love with the goldfish; I was tempted to tell him at the time I'm a fur but didn't. (However I did tell him a few years later when out of the blue he said he was amazed they put a "fuck me" look on Nala; his reaction was very interesting...)
