Ehh not somuch that it is an acutl golem.. i was jsut giving it a construct like ideal. in a D&D game.
you know how your parnets say if you sitck your finger in a fan, it'll cut it off?
same pricapal here. I did my best to try and make this look like a schematic blueprint. and make it POP out of the page at you. I believe i've failed that part
@ months of measuring and drawign and erasing then finaly inking

actually its a fairly good attempt. i know from experience that drafting spheres is a pain. i also want to note that some of the rings on the interior seem to be more like mobius strips, but altogether its quit good.
I'd be interested in seeing the D&D stats for it as well (3.5 preferably?) cause it looks like it'd be a rather nasty beastie!

yeah sorry for the late reply,, (2 years,, sheesh)
anyway,, thanks for comenting on it, and yes it was indeed an emmence pain in the rectal orifice, and i really wanted to give up on it frequently, but i thankfully managed to finish it off..
as for all the rings,, Well I'll be honest,, I didnt really have a good grasp of line work so the rings were suppose to be a completly flat hoop all the ay around,, not mobious strips, But,, now that you mention it,, I suppose a modifyer for an entanglement ability for them woudl work as well, Wrappign people up in straps of metal to keep them form moving, as the blade rings woudl fluctuate directions and pull them in (noted later)
Saldy i dont have any stats for it, so i'll leave that to your own devices,
But i suppose if i had to estimate,
on 3.5 stats
HD 5d8+20 It's a machien based on rotation and deflection, so it's gonan be pretty durable.
Ini,9 if activated pervously, 10+ roll If triggered (will seek out party member who activated it as a trap) Fast lil beast machine when it has a target to remove
Size grades Brass, (hobbit blender) iron (Dwarf disasembaler" Steel (Human hunter) adamantine/electrum, (Orc opener) ( size notion given in their nicknames of course
golem abilitys,, Immune to electric/cold/illusion spells (poisons and sickness too obviously). 25% damage form fire on save.
suseptable to Jamming * hard enough material, lodged in to the blades for enough time will cause the machiens rings to sieze up, and fries it in a location, Iron structure, weaker to steel Brass to iron,, steel to electrum/adamantine But will have a 10% chance to auto reset to free position per turn while jammed, jammign requires a Reflex save DC of 16 since they're movign THAT FAST.
Attacks,, * rolling slam +spikes 1d6+3 Brass 2d6+4 iron 4d6+5 steel 2d12=5 adamantine
Minor construction weakness, is that if you remove the gem inside a jammed unit,, the machien dies down , seign that as it's power source, but will immediately activate once placed back in to position after a 5 second wait for the activator to leave.
Generly these hellish machinations of industiralist wizzards were set as rovign guards and as a method of improoved Boulder in a hall way trapps,, but the longer tehy were used,, the more inventive the creators became,, useing them as fillers for pit traps and a surprise celing ropp for any woudl be intruders thier forced gyroscopinc rotations derived form the encrusted gem within their middl most parts woudl give a beautifull gleam to those it was after,, entrancing them to look in awe as their firends were sliced like so much ribbons of meat.
*to construct, 150GP Gem with atleast 6 faces, to define it's direcitons of travel, when programmign the automation, the more faces the more fluid it's directions can be,, allowign for more perfect turning or more direct lines of travle,
60-300 pounds of a givven construction material, depending on the target size, 60 being the lightes one could build out of brass.
between 0 and 980 metal spikes depending on the builders fashion,, generlay costign 2 GP per spike,
the metal for the rings them selves must bee keened to a fine edge to maximize thier cuttign ability (some havign been known to split the down of a goose feather off the quill in a gentile breeze.
Spell requirements,, 6 dancing swords, permanence, Create golem' and Transfixor other lower level hypnotic spell if desired,, the cost being paid ot the partys involved in casting.
thats about all i can think of sorry again for the late reply, and horrible spelling
