This is the finished 3rd revision of my original character, Cloud's android form. From now on I will call this form the "original form" of him. I used the concept of Chinese blue and white porcelain for Cloud's appearance.
I color this picture using masking. I made this picture in Photoshop, but I believe GIMP can do it without any difficulty. I will introduce this technique in my GIMP tutorial too.
The pattern in the background was based on some random googled image. I've redrawn the whole thing to make a highres version.

So how long does it take you to do this kind of thing anyway?
But the coloring only took me some hours to complete.
Can't wait for more, and interested in that tutorial you said you might do for gimp when that version comes out. (not sure what the current versions of gimp are out, so I might be behind on that, and it's something you changed your mind on.)

I've been trying hard to make white looks less boring.
I think it's a nice color for product design, but not that easy to be used in character design, especially for a furry XD

This is his 3rd version, his body in the 1st version was like a stick...I have been adding more and more muscles onto his body, but he is just a thin character XD
Of course, I love their story as well...
