The mushrooms featured on this are trametes versicolor (turkey tail), they’re a smaller polypore mushroom that grow on a variety of rotting wood.
This collar is made almost entirely of wool, aside from the metal eyelets and rattail cording on the back. It is a mix of wet felting and needle felting.
